Avatar movie tells the story of Na'vi people who live in perfect harmony with the nature. They feel and worship nature.
. Humans were like them in the beginning. But greed and gluttony kept getting better of us and has brought us to this point when we have enough nuclear weapons to destroy all life from Earth several times over. But we forget that Earth itself is living and watching everything. There may come a time when it seeks revenge from man.
This video is a narrated poem. The poem is called The Chosen One" Mother and Son. It has only one poem with a sequel. You must listen to it to know what happens.
This is perhaps what would happen or what should happen if people become so selfish and exploitative of all kinds of natural resources and the nature itself.
A poetic guided meditation on a poem by Vijay Shankar Sharma narrated by Amy Barron Smolinski

The poem is not about actual mother and son.
It is about mother earth and human as the preferred son+The chosen one.
The son destroys other children of the earth animals etc and finally kills the mother.
In the sequel, the Earth wakes up from ice age and kills man before it is born to protect its other children.
Some Reviews of the Poem - The Chosen One: Mother & Son
“Dynamic, holding reader's attention...I devoured this poem
in one breath and will totally recommend it for others. It faces
vital issues for present mankind.
The second poem began like simply beautiful peace of
poetry, but than it shocked me and made me to think deeply,
and brought tears to my eyes.”
-Yuliya Krasnova, Krasnoyarsk, Russia
”The poems contain two moving, powerful stories that
capture the beautiful, yet sometimes sorrowful, irrationality of
a mother's love for her child, while, at the same time,
conveying an even deeper meaning on humanity's journey
towards ultimate corruption, that should make us reflect on
our not-so-far-anymore future.”
-Amelia Sava, Pietrasanta, Italy
"The poems are full of imagination while thought-provoking,
whoever you are, old or young, man or women, you'll see
something valuable from these poems."
-Cleo Lee, Tianjin, China
“The first poem ‘the chosen one: The son’ captures the
attention of readers in such a way that, the end of every line
creates an interest to read the next line. The second poem
‘the chosen one: The mother’ is a tribute to all mothers with
its rich content. In this way, a reader could not stop until
he/she completes the entire book. I find both the poems very
new and fresh, and I can feel myself witnessing everything
as if the content was real and I was a character in it. This
book is a good feast for all those hungry poetry readers.”
-A. Fathima Fahmiya, Tamil Nadu, India
"Absolutely wonderful and awakening poem! It is exactly
what people need to read nowadays and hopefully realize
what a great mistake they keep on making each day. If only
kids got familiar with this story instead of with iPhones,
iPads, social media and the like, the world we live in would
be a humane, beautiful, happy and peaceful place."
-Marta Rolevski, Sebgrade, Serbia
