Here is the 1st part to my new series called Doodle Page Ideas. In this video, we are going to look at line drawing and patterns by doing some flower doodles.
If you need ideas on ways to fill up your sketch book or just feel like doodling, then this is a good art exercise for you to do on a page in your sketchbook. The idea of this activity is to use watercolour paint to paint circles of some bright colours and then use a black pen or various black pens to create patterns and practice line drawing. Try not to use the same line pattern twice, keep them different and explore different techniques. I really like this art activity because it is relaxing, colourful and simple to do.
It doesn't take long to do either and is a great art exercise to do with kids to teach them about line and pattern.
