How to Get a Melodic Rock Guitar Tone

One of the best ways to get clarity in your guitar playing is lowering the gain. This becomes the perfect tone for playing any style of rock guitar.

In this video, I give you amp settings to get an awesome guitar tone for rock.

Even if you play metal music, I encourage you to back the gain off sometimes on your amp. This will inspire you to play differently and you may be surprised at the creativity that flows.

You'll be playing notes you normally don't play. This can even help you get more creative when you go back to playing more extreme styles of metal.
