Deep in the Rockbelter Mines, the party faces Gale, who is controlling an early model drill rig. After defeating him, Deego challenges Gale to a one-on-one duel, which he must win on his own. Although the party succeeds in stopping Gale, the Morarty Clan manages to steal the ancient tablet from the tablet pit.
When they return to Angela's Bar, they learn that Angela is leaving the planet. Deego decides to follow her and meets her at the Myna Train Station. However, after their emotional meeting, Deego chooses to stay with the party to help complete their mission. Back on the Dorgenark, the group sets out to chase the ship carrying the stolen tablet to their next destination: Rosa.
