I’m finding now that I am a wheelchair user that hotels that promote they have accessible rooms lack accessibility big time. They have some of the right equipment but if it’s inadequately installed it’s basically useless. Check out these three short videos from my recent trip to St. Louis.

Mark Irvin and KC MASS Services: Many of you may not know that Sharon and I started https://www.kcmass.net/   in 2003 and we were the pioneers in designing and installing adaptations and modifications for people with disabilities in their residential homes in the greater Kansas City area. Some of my colleagues and good friends have suggested that now that I’m a Paraplegic using a wheelchair that I start consulting with apartment developers, hoteliers, architects, engineers, and other designers of the built environment  help guide them in their accommodations for accessibility for people with disabilities. I have the experience and even a stronger voice to advocate for people with disabilities.
