Unsung India Foundation dedicates this film to the Late Ratan N Tata, honoring his unwavering love and support for street animals. In this episode of our talk-doc, we meet Manavi Rai, an animal rights activist who runs Udgam Charitable Trust in Delhi. After graduating from NIFT and ramp walking for major brands, Manavi launched her own label and worked in Canada before returning to India to dedicate herself to animal rescue and welfare. She believes that true animal welfare can only be achieved by educating and raising awareness among locals. In the film, Manavi shares heartwarming rescue stories of Nanki, Bhairav, Naazuk, and Masiha. Her efforts extend beyond dogs, having rescued horses, cows, buffaloes, hyenas, and more. Manavi asserts that people are not inherently unkind to animals, as our culture has always taught us to love and respect them. Through her work, she strives to bridge the gap between education and compassion for animals.
