Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume says it is “deluded” for the Labor government to claim they are the party for small businesses.

This comes after new data from ASIC revealed 6,600 firms have gone into administration in the six months to September.

“The irony that this government could say they are the party of small business – that’s just deluded,” Ms Hume told Sky News Australia.

“Between high energy prices, industrial relations laws that are tying them up in knots, red tape, green tape and high taxes.”
