How to Install Toekick in your Kitchen

Installing toekick (also known as kick board) is one of the final steps in a kitchen installation or cabinet refacing project. Toekick is the inset portion beneath your cabinetry that hides the base of your cabinetry with a tidy finish.

In a cabinet refacing project, installing toekick overtop of your old one is a great way to freshen up the look to match your new doors, without worrying about painting. Older toekick can often get worn out or damaged, so updating it when replacing your doors will make your kitchen look new again.

Pencil
Saw
Drill
Adhesive
Optional: Pin Nailer
