Instructions (BASIC Pattern)

* Crown*

1. **Magic Ring**: Make a magic ring and ch 2.
2. **Round 1**: 12 hdc into the ring. Sl st to the top of the first hdc. (12 sts)
3. **Round 2**: Ch 2, 2 hdc in each st around. Sl st to the top of the first hdc. (24 sts)
4. *Round 3**: Ch 2, *1 hdc in next st, 2 hdc in the next st repeat around. Sl st to the top of the first hdc. (36 sts)
5. *Round 4**: Ch 2, *1 hdc in next 2 sts, 2 hdc in the next st repeat around. Sl st to the top of the first hdc. (48 sts)
6. *Round 5**: Ch 2, *1 hdc in next 3 sts, 2 hdc in the next st repeat around. Sl st to the top of the first hdc. (60 sts)
7. *Round 6**: Ch 2, *1 hdc in next 4 sts, 2 hdc in the next st repeat around. Sl st to the top of the first hdc. (72 sts)
8. *Round 7**: Ch 2, *1 hdc in next 5 sts, 2 hdc in the next st repeat around. Sl st to the top of the first hdc. (84 sts)

#### Sides

1. **Round ( ... )**: Ch 1, hdc in each st around. Sl st to the top of the first hdc.

You can add more rounds here if you want the hat to be longer.
