Sorry, I don’t know why the captions are kinda funny 🥲 I tried fixing them 3x!

I had my first corn milk latte the last time I was in LA (Pasadena area) and I looooved it. I don’t know of any places around me here in New York that sell it, so when my friend sent me a sweet corn latte video, I knew I had to give it a shot!

Like I mentioned in the video, I did some research online/on TikTok to see how different people make this drink, and came up with my own recipe based on patterns I saw across recipes. It was cool to learn about how corn milk is currently popular in Korean cafes, but it’s been popular in Brazil and Vietnam for a while already!

If you’d like to make this at home, I highly recommend using an espresso machine instead of just mixing the corn milk with coffee (which is what the original video did too, I realized)—so you get the most corn milk flavor!

CORN MILK (can size up to make in bulk)
Ingredients:
🌽 1/2 cup canned corn, drained and rinsed
🌽 1 cup milk or milk alternative
🌽 2-3 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
🌽 pinch of salt

Instructions:
1️⃣ Blend ingredients together and strain (don’t strain if continuing to next step)
OPTIONAL step 2️⃣: Transfer to small pot and simmer while stirring for a few minutes, then strain and allow to cool slightly

CREAM TOP:
🥛 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
🥛 1/2 tbsp corn milk
Instructions: Froth or blend together until thick
