Cut Open Japanese Melon | 5 Types of Melon in Japan

Описание к видео Cut Open Japanese Melon | 5 Types of Melon in Japan

Melons are known as a luxurious fruit but you can purchase melons in Japan for under $7 and they taste really good.

Now is summer time in Japan. I went to a supermarket near my apartment and found many fancy melons lying around.

There are some crazily expensive luxurious melons wrapped in an elegant box costing $50 or even $100 as well. Some of you probably have heard of musk melon or Yubari King Melon before. Business insider actually did a video about Japanese melon and explained in detail why they are so expensive.

Anyway, I steered clear from those luxury ones and decided to make a video about all the different types of melon average person can afford. And honest, if you can pardon my language, it tastes pretty dam* good.

The most expensive melon on the list is Golden King Melon, and that still only cost $6. Personally, I love all of the melons LOL. They are all really sweet and I’d love to have them every single day.

But if I have to pick a favorite, it would be Caribbean Sweet Melon, followed by Golden King Melon, then Red Melon.

Prince Melon is really sweet and delicious too—like a sweet, soft and juicy cucumber. Andes is rather normal but they come in different price range so I’m sure the higher-end ones are really flavorful.

In fact, I think Andes Melon is the general image of what people see when they think of Japanese melon. Round, small, green, soft and juicy flesh.

When you visit Japan during summer time, be sure to check them out!

As always thanking for watching, everyone! Next video is coming up next week. Stay tune and have a lovely day : )
