रोहिताश गौड़ का जन्म चंडीगढ़ के पास कालका में हुआ. बचपन से ही वो एक एक्टर बनने का सपना देखते थे, पर उनके पिता का मानना था कि एक्टिंग करके कुछ बड़ा हासिल नहीं किया जा सकता. इसलिए उन्हें अपने पिता की ज़िद के चलते Science लेनी पड़ी. पर वो स्कूल में फेल हो गए. जिसके बाद रोहिताश ने निश्चय किया को Acting में अपना Career बनाएगें औन वह NSD पहुंचे. यहाँ रोहिताश ने Hard Work से अपने Skill को निखारना शुरू किया और पढाई करने के बाद मुंबई का रुख किया. उनके सपने के विपरीत मुंबई ने उनका स्वागत Struggle के साथ किया, पर रोहिताश ने हार नहीं मानी और Hard Work करते रहे. इस बीच वो कुछ ऐसे टूटे कि उन्हें अपने गांव भी लौटना पड़ा. इसके बाद उन्होंने फिर से शुरुआत की और दोबारा अपने Skill पर काम करना शुरू किया और फिर मुंबई आये. इस बार उनका Hard Work काम आया और उन्हें काम मिलने लगा. Struggle को मात देकर उन्होंने इस शहर में अपनी पहंचान बनाई और आज एक सफल अभिनेता के रूप में काम कर रहे हैं. Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai उन टेलीविज़न कार्यक्रमों में से एक है, जिनके ज़रिये रोहिताश ने अपनी पहचान घर-घर में बनाई. Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai उनके लिए एक मील के पत्थर की साबित हुआ.

Rohitash Gaud was born in Kalka near Chandigarh. From childhood, he aspired to become an actor, but his father believed that acting could not help him achieve something big. That is the reason he made Rohitash take science after class 10th so that he could do engineering later on. Rohiitash made a wrong career choice and he failed in class 11th, after which Rohitash's teacher explained his father and Rohitash reached NSD. Here Rohitash began to refine his skills with Hard Work and after completing his course he turned to Mumbai. Unlike the way he imagined, Mumbai welcomed him with struggle, but Rohitash did not give up and continued to do hard work. In the meantime, he lost his hope and had to return to his village. After that he started again and started working on his skill and then came back to Mumbai. This time his hard work helped him and he got the job he wanted. By defeating Struggle, he made his mark in this city and is working as a successful actor today. Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai is one of the television shows that made him famous.
