Muay Thai vs Bokator - Bokator Basics ft. Dean Rosenwald

Описание к видео Muay Thai vs Bokator - Bokator Basics ft. Dean Rosenwald

We bring in Coach Dean Rosenwald from Santa Monica Striking to talk about Bokator, a Cambodian martial art that almost got lost in the 70s. The art has been re-vitalized and saved from extinction after a more sane government took over Cambodia, and the art of Bokator has been slowly spreading more and more in the past decades. Dean Rosenwald trained under Grandmaster San Kim Sean. San Kim Sean is the only Gold Kroma Bokator teacher, and he has been restoring a lot of the art since the 70s. Let's explore some of the basic moves of Bokator and some of the differences between Bokator and Muay Thai. Leave your comments below and let us know what questions you have for Dean and what future demonstrations you want to see! More demonstrations of Southeast Asian martial arts to come!
