The Monolith Garden at Nartiang village, West Jaiñtia Hills, Meghalaya is the cluster of Monoliths at a single place is an amazing place to visit. It is about 63 km far from state capital Shillong and around 20 km far from district head quarter Jowai. Big solid stones which have been erected to mark the reign of Jaiñtia kings. According to local legend, the tallest monolith in the cluster, Moo Long Syiem which is 8m long was erected by U Mar Phalyngki. Phalyngki was a trusted lieutenant of a Jaiñtia king. He erected the Monoliths to commemorate his victory in battle. The Monoliths were erected approximately during 1500 AD and 1835 AD.
