The Strangers: Chapter 1 - Movie Review

While I've never been a fan of The Strangers movies, I had some hope that with Renny Harlin as director of the new film, there might be some interesting ideas and solid thrills here. I was wrong.

All my ratings are based on a 'thumbs up/thumbs down' list. Here they are below.

Thumbs down:
1: F*****g Terrible (Really bad)
2: Snoozefest (Dull, uninteresting, unmemorable)

Thumbs half up/down:
3: Know who you are (It may only appeal to a small portion of the audience)
4: With a little help from some 'friends' (Either watch with some friends.... or watch drunk)

Thumbs Up:
5: Worth a watch (Check it out on streaming)
6: Buy it (Watch in the cinema, or purchase the physical release)
7: Top Notch (As good as it gets)
