Mikołaj urodził się z deformacją stopy oraz ze zdeformowaną i skróconą kością podudzia. W 2019 roku chłopiec przeszedł operację z rekonstrukcją stawu skokowego metodą SUPERankle, a w 2020 r. miał założony aparat Ilizarowa celem wydłużenia podudzia. Poznajcie historię Mikołajka.

Mikołaj was born with a congenital deformation - fibular hemimelia. In addition to deformation and shortening of the lower leg, the boy also had a deformed foot.

Today, Mikołaj has already undergone two surgeries at the Paley European Institute. The first one concerned the reconstruction of the ankle joint using the SUPERankle method, and the next one was fitted with an Ilizarov apparatus to lengthen the lower leg.
