Volunteering at the Fjallraven classic UK

We had an amazing opportunity to volunteer at the first Fjällräven Classic UK in the Beautiful Scottish Highlands.

This was the very first Fjallraven Classic even in the UK.

A 65km route starting from Mar Lodge, heading into the Cairngorns National park and back around to finish at Mar Lodge.

We where based at checkpoint 2 at Carrour Bothy. We met some fantastic people. There was (I think) 216 participants in total for all corners of the world.

The Fjallraven Classic 2022 event are really great, you see some great friendships formed and see some great places.

All of the Classic events are organised by Fjallraven which takes alot of the planning from you.

Food is supplied, airport / train station transfers organized and the route is monitored so no-one gets left behind (who said that?)
