In this Video I’ll be demonstrating a 2006 Mercedes C180 SE Kompressor. The car has a 1.8 litre petrol engine mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox.
At the time of release the car is for sale on Facebook marketplace as a trade clearance vehicle.

Specification - Auto Lights, A/C (cold), Power Folding Door Mirrors, Alloys, Cloth Interior, Airbags, Cruise Control, Trip Computer. - All functioning.

This little Mercedes has come in via dealer part exchange and doesn't quite meet my standard to fully retail. So instead I'm offering for sale on Facebook Marketplace. My garage is Car Daws in Taunton Somerset. (Check out the website, Search 'Car Daws Taunton' online).

First and foremost the car runs and drives. I've driven just shy of 700 miles in the car over the past 2/3 weeks including a trip to Burton (Near Coventry) to the South West. And its been fun, comfortable and a effortless place to spend my time.

The Bodywork is in good order with only minor age related wear marks. As is the interior.

Motorcheck / HPI report / Experian / Autocheck report clear.

The concerns -
- Requires Valeting
- 1 x Speaker Grill Cracked
- Centre Arm rest cushion deflated.
- Exhaust rattle from possible heat shield/support.
- Alternator warning message periodically appears on the 'info messages' on the centre screen. (In my 700 miles I have not once had a flat battery and the alternator charges the battery, its been not driven for 6 days and started fine this morning) - I've not investigated this.
- Last serviced in 2020 - the Merc would benefit from another service bringing the history up to date.

+ Advisories on the last MOT are as follows = REAR EXHAUST HEAT SHIELD, INSECURE.. Nearside Rear Brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened LIPPED AND WORN. (1.1.14 (a) (ii)). Offside Rear O/S HANDBRAKE WORKING, REDUCED EFFORT.. Offside Rear Brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened LIPPED AND WORN.

2005/2006 facelift examples from dealers /Garages on Autotrader within 100 miles of Taunton & less than 100,000 miles have asking prices from £2500 - £3000 I think £1500 is a fair asking price for a fair.
