Stop This Train
From the cabaret TWENTYSOMETHING

Ruby Rakos got her start in the Broadway production of Billy Elliot at age twelve, and was excited to take the reins in her first solo show, Twentysomething. In 2019, she performed the role of Judy Garland in the new musical Chasing Rainbows: The Road to Oz at Paper Mill Playhouse. She originated the role of Judy at Flat Rock Playhouse and Goodspeed Musicals prior to the run at Paper Mill.

Of her performance as Judy Garland, the New York Times said that Ruby is “...at her vocal best without being slavishly imitative.” BroadwayWorld raved, “Every time she opens her mouth to sing, something bold, beautiful and brilliant comes out.”
