SEAM#35 (Online)- Martha Ferez - The Paradox of Measuring Value in the Workplace

Measuring value in the workplace is very relevant for agile mind-set practitioners who seek to measure value and not effort when following the Agile Manifesto principles. There is some controversy on how to achieve that as it is difficult to ensure that the 'right thing' is measured at the 'right time'. Also, when benchmarking what other companies measure, it is easy to fall into the analysis-paralysis trap.

Whilst there is no blanket approach across all jobs (IT and non-IT) and industries to accomplish this, our speaker will help us break down these concepts. And, at the end of the session, will put all those pieces back together into a model that can provide guidance to measure value in the workplace.

Biography

Martha is currently the Head of Change for Non-Financial Risk Management at Deutsche Bank, where she also performs as an agile trainer and coach. Martha has a Management Consulting background with a client portfolio that includes most Big UK Banks.
