Описание к видео Nevada County Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum in Nevada City, CA 7/14/24 Ft. Tahoe & A&W Porter no. 1

In this video, we visit the Nevada County Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum in Nevada City, CA to see the oldest narrow gauge steam locomotive in operation, a porter during demonstration runs, a railbus taking passengers, and 2 Plymouth diesels make an appearance. In addition, we see an NCO/F&CC/SPNG boxcar, NCO/F&CC passenger cars, a Rio Grande stock car, Westside Lumber Company cabooses, a NCNGRR hopper, tankers, flatcars and log cars from various narrow gauge and logging railroads.

The no. 5 Tahoe carries passengers around the meadow, Antelope & Western no. 1 doing demonstration runs, a tour inside an NCO coach and boxcar, and other sights we see in this video.

Although I didn’t get a lot as I thought I will, that being the 5 battling the 7% grade and A&W no. 1 steaming around the meadow, it was still great and I had a lot of fun over there seeing some of my favorite narrow gauge steam engines.

This video represents the finest of the railroad that once ran from Colfax through Nevada City, nicknamed as the “Never Come, Never Go.”
