With just days to go to the re-burial of Russia's murdered last Tsar, the surviving royal family of Russia faces competition from a man who claims to be the rightful heir. Nikolai Romanov-Dalsky says he is the son of the Tsarevich Alexei, the haemophaeliac son of Nikolai II, both of whom were murdered by the Bolsheviks in 1918. Nikolai Romanovich Romanov, the most distinguished member of the family in St Petersburg for the re-burial, said he had seen so many other cases of people masquarading as lost Romanov children, that the case of Mikolai III did not surprise him.
