A year ago, I was exactly where you are - preparing for my Step 2 exam and knowing that USCE was my next big step. I remember feeling overwhelmed with questions: Where should I apply? Inpatient or outpatient? Observerships - are they worth it? It was confusing, but now I'm here to share my journey and insights.

In this video, I'll break down what USCE is, its importance, and the different types available - Hands-On (sub-internships, clinical electives, externships) and Hands-Off (observerships, Telerotations), both inpatient and outpatient. I'll share my experience, as well as my colleagues', to give you a comprehensive view.
