The Skip Hop Activity Center: A Pediatric Physical Therapist's Review

Описание к видео The Skip Hop Activity Center: A Pediatric Physical Therapist's Review

In this video, I discuss the Pro's and Con's to the Skip Hop Activity Center. Skip Hop has made some improvements to the typical "activity center", and parents ask me if the Skip Hop Activity Center is appropriate for their baby and if it's worth the cost.

The Pro's to the Skip Hop Activity Center are:
1. The Skip Hop Activity Center "grows" with your child as it's able to convert from an activity center to a play table.
2. The toys on the Skip Hop Activity Center are removeable to allow for different play experiences for babies.
3. The Skip Hop Activity Center has an adjustable foot plate to allow your baby's feet to be in contact with something rather than just "hanging" in the sling style seat.

The Con's to the Skip Hop Activity Center are:
1. It's expensive: $140 US (at the time this video was made).
2. Despite the adjustable foot plate, babies continue to arch, tip toe and bounce in the Skip Hop Activity Center.

In my opinion, the Skip Hop Activity Center is not "worth it", and it isn't a piece of equipment that I would buy for my child.
