Kal wakes up with no recollection of the night before, besieged by perplexing letters mysteriously appearing around his home. As the letters eerily chronicle his present actions in real-time, Kal's sense of reality crumbles, pushing him to the edge of sanity. Gripped by fear, he finds himself at a loss trying to decipher what's taking place. Eventually, he starts to think he's just being dramatic, the letters are just a prank left by his good friend, Daniel. Though, it wouldn't be long after that thought before unearthing the shocking revelations that will challenge everything he thought he knew about himself and the fateful night.

Shot on Sony A7IV with only a kit lens.

The script for this short film was written in under and hour and filmed within 48 hours. All written, edited, and shot by a one man band. Needless to say after doing all of this, I now understand why it takes a great team of people to create something worthwhile.... and that I'm not an actor haha. There was originally a scene with my phone screen that would show "Daniel," Kal's friend, calling to check on him, but I could NOT get After Effects to work with me so I ultimately just cut it. Definitely learned a great deal with this short project and hope to create more like it (but better) in the future!
