Libby makes her living selling spells, fortunes and hexes to local criminals and drug runners, with small-time crooks Cal and Ed providing security.

When her estranged sister Bea turns up on the doorstep, Libby refuses to see her, and subsequently finds that her magical power is becoming unstable, resulting in dangerous side-effects. As the situation escalates, Libby realises that she must confront her past in order to move on.
