これまで企画展やアーティストレジデンスにて廃材や建設・工業資材を用いて、「見立て・模倣」の立体作品を製作をしてまいりましたが、今回は、初めての個展にて平面表現により作品制作をいたします。

タイトルの「統制と日常」についてテーマは、誰もが日常で触れる情報で、個人では時には重要な情報ですが大概は不要な情報となり、破棄されるにが通常です。しかしながら発信側は、この記録により情報として「統制」を行っています。

今回の作品は、この日常に溢れる情報の羅列です。この羅列は記号により（いい意味でも悪い意味でも「統制」され）情報化されます。まずは、ひとつひとつを作品として成立させて、ご来場いただくことで「会場全体としての作品」をご高覧いただける様、心がけています。

また、個展のサブタイトルの「博覧展」とは、わたしが生活に用いたモノをタダ収集する癖があり、今回の個展での表現したいモノが収集癖の如き散乱しだしたので数点に分類、テーマを「統制と日常」に絞込んで、今回他のテーマを切捨てるためにつけました。

いずれ、他のテーマの「博覧展」が出来れば幸いです。

I have been creating 3D art work using construction and industrial debris under the concept of “replication and mimicry". This time, for my first solo show, I'm giving 2D expression a try.

I titled this show "Control and Daily Life" with information as the main subject. I see daily life controlled by a constant stream of information that appears important in a moment then turns into waste as quickly as it appeared. Providers of this sea of information control you by inundating your life with it, keeping you confused.

I put my effort into multiple pieces of art that hopefully, people can ultimately see as one large piece of art. I used "Exposition" as a subtitle, as my ideas are all over the map. I sorted and organized them like pavilions in a big expo so you can visit them one by one. I hope I can show other "pavilions” in future.
