We take songs that we play at our gigs and record/video them live in our rehearsal studio and create a video using a Nikon D3300 and multiple phone cameras. More music on the way.

Playing Classic Rock fused with funky Soul, R&B, and some Jazz from the 60s to the 2000s (Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Doobie Bros, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Michael McDonald, Bos Scaggs, Little Feat, the Police, the Beatles, the Stones, Motown, the Spinners, Bonnie Rait, Van Morrison…), mixed with a few original tunes.

Our original guitarist Marvin Taylor now lives in Florida, so Jody Worrell has joined team Java Monkey. (Java Monkey 2.0)

Members of Java Monkey have recorded and played with: 38 Special, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Joan Baez, Bertie Higgins, Francine Reed, the band ATLANTA...and many many more!!
