I bought a pony!

If you've been following me for a while, you might be shocked to see that I did not buy another retired racehorse! Truthfully, I don't know what got into me, but when I saw Pony's ad, something about him caught my eye and when I went to see him I just knew I had to have him.

So this is my new "horse" who is technically a pony. He came with the name "Jake" but I haven't been able to call him anything besides Pony. He's very good minded, but also very green and relatively unhandled, so training pony has been an exercise in going slow to go fast if you will. Also. like most ponies, he is incredibly smart and food motivated so it's been a perfect outlet for my clicker training pursuits.
