Took a beautiful trip last fall to Scotland where we were able to explore Edinburgh, the infamous Victoria Street that inspired Diagon Alley from Harry Potter. We also took a haunted tour in the evening of the Vaults below the city and learned a bit about their dark history. This was super fitting for the month of October. We were able to venture all the way up north to Slaines Castle that I had been dying to see since reading a historical book taking place at the location years ago. Slaines Castle, perched on the cliffs off Cruden Bay is also known as the castle the inspired the original Dracula story. Last stop was another cliff side castle, Dunnottar Castle.
