This is how I updated the firmware without an iPad or Wi-Fi just using my old desktop computer. I hooked up computer up to the Ethernet on my home wifi router - downloaded the updated mixpad on Allen and heaths website, then unhooked the same Ethernet cable into the CQ18T and went to the firmware option on the unit itself then hit update and it took a couple minutes and it’s now updated. I was having trouble doing it but this way finally worked.
