This vid from my 2 month old old GoPro took over an hour to upload a 6 minute video.

Take a look at the vid from my 20 year old Kodak which took just over 5 minutes to upload the same length video.

I guess you need the right tools for the job. The improvement in this vid versus the Kodak vid is negligible from a practical standpoint.
