The Rochester Jr. Americans are members of the North American Hockey League which is the oldest and largest junior hockey league in the United States. The NAHL is considered one of the best at advancing players to the NCAA and professional hockey.

The Jr. Americans just completed their inaugural season in the NAHL making the playoffs and advancing to the second round. Over 2500 fans packed the Rochester Ice Center during a sellout first round of the playoffs.

Over the course of the season, not only was the team successful on the ice, but the buy-in from the community was palpable. Jr. Americans games continue to be an inexpensive option for all fans with tickets just $7 and kids in free.

Approaching its 50th season, the NAHL boasts 35 teams in 20 states across North America. The league consistently produces 300+ NCAA commitments per season. Over the course of the last five years, 1500+ NAHL players have made NCAA commitments and 32 have been drafted to the NHL.

Each NAHL Team plays a 60 game regular season schedule. The season begins at the NAHL Showcase in September and ends on May with the lifting of the Robertson Cup.

The Jr. Americans compete in the East Division against the following teams: Northeast Generals, Johnstown Tomahawks, New Jersey Titans, Maryland Black Bears, Maine Nordiques, New Hampshire Mountain Kings, Philadelphia Rebels, Elmira Aviators, and Danbury Hat Tricks.
