Distance learning with the School of Archaeology & Ancient History

Описание к видео Distance learning with the School of Archaeology & Ancient History

Distance learning is a flexible and completely equivalent way of studying and getting academic qualifications in archaeology and ancient history. Our BA (Bachelor of Arts) courses are undergraduate courses, suitable for you if you would like to study for a recognised university qualification but do not have formal qualifications or previous experience of higher education.

If you know from the outset that you can't or don't want to commit to a full BA, you can apply for level 1 (Certificate) or levels 1 and 2 (Diploma) only. Similarly, if for any reason you are unable to complete the full BA programme, you can opt to leave at the end of each level. Successful completion of level 1 entitles you to a Certificate (CertHE) and successful completion of levels 1 and 2 entitles you to a Diploma (DipHE). If you don’t want to register for a qualification at all, that's fine – the modules are also available as stand-alone modules for interest only.

Our undergraduate distance learning courses also provides an alternative route onto our campus degrees. If you pass level 1, you can transfer on to campus study for your second year.
