Singing Wells Family "GLORY ROAD" 1976

"Glory Road" was the inaugural song learned and performed by the Wells Family in 1976. Shortly thereafter, they recorded it for their debut album, "As Soon As I Touch Calvary." Robert played the piano and sang displaying an impressive range of vocals. Fern sang with her rich alto voice. Rob, at eight years old, handled the lead and tenor vocals, while six-year-old Lewis played the bass guitar like a seasoned musician. Cousin Earl Philmon would step in to play the drums whenever possible. "Glory Road" remained an essential part of their set list throughout their years of touring and performing together.
