Panchalingeshwar Temple is in Balasore area of Odisha, India. It named after the five Shivalinga that are revered inside. The sanctuary is on top of a hillock close to the Nilagiri slope (not to be mistaken for that of Western Ghats).

The Shivalingas are said to have been revered by Sita, the spouse of Lord Rama during their outcast. Another story holds that King Banasura revered the Swayambhu Lingas at this spot given its magnificence. An enduring stream, which is the fundamental fascination of the space, routinely washes the Shivalingas as it streams over them. To reach to the sanctuary one needs to lie level on the stone corresponding to the stream to contact and love the lingas inside the water stream.
