2020 Falco model 5/8 Double Bass

Ten months ago luthier Ricardo Perez borrowed my ⅝ size Italian c1600 bass. He took measurements, we discussed some changes, and he created a template to work from. Yesterday I had the privilege of being the first person to play this lovely instrument that is an offspring of the instrument I have played for 35 years. What an honor to have this opportunity! But what to play? How to introduce music to this newborn, the music that will be the first sound from a voice that could live on for centuries beyond my lifetime? Of course I chose Bach, bebop and Beethoven. Introducing the Falco model ⅝ double bass by Ricardo Perez!
