I’m Jenny, a German living in Goa, building a practical, dog-friendly, self-sufficient home from scratch and welcome to my Vlog of our house building process!

So much work got done today that I had to make 3 videos!
1. The Ibiza-style cabinet work was started in Pantry, veggie garden and terrace (previous video)
2. The doors came! I’m so in love with both, really happy how all turned out. The main door is solid wood and the internal doors rather cheap compressed wood. I was first on the fence about it but then realized that most of the doors I’ve seen online are exactly that! Huge cost saving and the perfect design for the house 😊 The carpenters started installing them.
3. The space for the stove was cut out of the island
4. The window frame work in the dining room continued, quite happy with the result.
5. The painter brought paint samples and I narrowed it down to 2 (next video).
