legendary "fatboy Slim" also known as Norman Cook, who had huge success already as part of the indie rock band "Housemartins" started at some stage, to totally mix up the dance scene under several monikers. Dub Foundation for example or Fatboy Slim. With this he was, as a side effect, also kind of inventing a new genre called "Big Beat". Sampling other tracks was a huge part of all that.

so for example in this track he used not less then 6 samples, put together in perfect harmony and so another no1. world hit records was ready. also you should check out the video, which was done by Roman Coppola and one or was nominated for one or the other big award like MTV Video Award. Grammy Award as well...
