In Act IV Scene I, Mariana is listening to a song of love betrayed, as her betrothed rejected her and seeks again to manipulate her for his own political ends.

Our performance was part of a recital in a multi-media presentation including a photographic exhibition of 'Shakespeare's North Country' and an illustrated lecture about the possibility that Shakespeare spent some of his youth in Lancashire. We were nominated for a Royal Philharmonic Society Award for bringing new audiences to classical music.
