Hi everyone so I noticed that when the 3D prints started there was a variation in the extruded plastic width ranging from too wide to non existent. Finally the print jobs would fail. After disassembly of the extruder head I noticed the grub screw securing the extruder nozzle to the extruder support was loose. This meant I could manually move the extruder nozzle up and down a fraction of a mm. Definitely a strong contender for explaining the irregular extrusion. Will reassemble and test.
