Our series of video interviews where AboutFACE's Co-Artistic Directors Anna and Paul Nugent pose 5 Questions to leading figures in theatre -- today it's actor and writer Clare Dunne.
Clare's work in London includes playing Prince Hal of Henry 4th and Portia in Julius Caesar in Phyllida Lloyd’s acclaimed productions at the Donmar Warehouse, which both transferred to St Ann’s Warehouse in New York; Clare has also worked at the National, the Young Vic and the Lyric Hammersmith, among others.
In Ireland, her theatre credits include Look Back in Anger and Tribes at the Gate, Major Barbara and Juno and the Paycock at the Abbey, multiple productions with Druid, and her one woman show, Sure Look It, Fuck It.
Her film credits include Spider-Man: Far From Home, Nice Night For It – and Herself, the feature film she wrote and stars in, which premiered at Sundance, received 6 IFTA Award nominations, and has received rave reviews.
