Kenny moving from wheelchair into the stander

In order for Kenny's bones and muscles to get the right amount of exercise so that he could possibly walk one day, and for his pulmonary (lungs), bladder and bowel systems to function properly, Kenny should be standing as much as possible, several times per day. This video shows how long it takes for one of us to put him in the stander. At school, since the stander cannot remain in his classroom, it takes 15 to 20 minutes to take him down the hall, do a 2 person transfer, transfer his ventilator and come back to the classroom. It takes the same time when he is done. That is 40 minutes of missing class just to stand in the stander. We hope that a standing wheelchair will eliminate this time inefficiency.
