A Federal Way man said two weeks before a woman was followed and then attacked by a man while walking on a trail at Tacoma's Point Defiance Park in February the same man followed him.

"We live right next to him so it wasn't too big [of a surprise] we knew he was weird and his day was gonna come," said Terrick Miller.

27-year-old Nicholas Matthew of Federal Way is charged with attempted murder in the first degree for the brutal and random stabbing attack of a woman. Jane spoke out 11 days after the February 10th attack at the Tacoma Police Department.
