A Complete Redesign of Fay's Set with Transfer Foil

Hi everybody

Welcome to the Kirsty Meakin SHOW! We’re doing a Fay infill and change up the whole design using foil.

I’m going to start by removing the stones with old nippers and prep the existing acrylic and the cuticle area with my e-file bits and sanding bands. I’m then going to us the nail prep essentials and apply the acrylic to the new growth. I’m using a peach cover pink on the smile line and neon pink on the rest of the nails so it all blends together.

I’m going to use my dust-extractor when filing the nails, and Fay wants to touch my teeth😕?I’ll set my file up with 100 grit paper on one side and 180 grit paper on the other side. I’m filing the side walls first with 100 grit and then use the 180 grit file round the cuticle area and then over the top of the nails. I’ll finish by buffing the nails.

I’ll apply Nail Foil Glue Gel from Lecente over the neon pink acrylic, covering three nails entirely and the tips of the smile line nails. I’ll take the Local Nail Art Foil and cover each nail with that foil entirely before going over and adding squiggly lines on foil glue gel again. I’m going to use the other metallic colours to randomly pop on over the glue so each nail has loads of colours.

I’m going to Top Coat the whole nail before applying my stones. I’m applying the big ones with Acrylic and the smaller ones with Gem Glue. The gem glue dries without a sticky layer so it’s perfect for this. I’m finishing with cuticle oil, my favourite from Indigo.
