Beyond the hype and myth of Artificial Intelligence – Leadership Watchouts For Improving Organisational Coordination

There has been much hype around the opportunities of AI, how it will enhance business performance, remove headcount and drive profitability, especially for larger organisations. How should businesses, particularly retailers look at this complex set of technologies. Is “AI” another Metaverse technology that really fails to ignite or deliver anything other than hype and “shiny toy syndrome”, or will it drive new ways of looking at the business model and success?

Many of the basics are already with us if we are using any form of business software such as ERP, CRM, WMS et al.
