In this episode of Around the World in 50 Foods, we make a pit stop in Laos to try their national dish - Pork Larb (Lâːp). Larb can be made with different minced meats, and is always combined with chili, mint, and optionally assorted vegetables. The dish is usually served at room temperature either on top of rice, or eaten in a lettuce wrap.

Ingredients:
600g ground pork
1 Tbsp fish sauce
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1-3 limes
1/4 tsp sugar
3 shallots
3-4 stalks green onion
1/4 cup cilantro
1/2 cup mint
1 Tbsp glutenous rice (uncooked)
1 red chili
