Sephiroth Challenge (Paid DLC Only)
This update brings the time-limited Sephiroth Challenge, which is a boss-only battle against Sephiroth in three different difficulties.
You can finish any difficulty and unlock Sephiroth, his stage, his music, and his Classic Mode right away.
Once you unlock Sephiroth, you can't use him against himself in this challenge.
WARNING: This challenge expires on December 22th, being the date Sephiroth is formally given to everyone. Mess around this as much as you can...though not that it can't be any different, since you can technically make your own challenge in the game using customization.

Sephiroth
The famous/infamous one-winged angel joins the roster, actually bringing more than 2 stinking music tracks for the FF series. He comes with the Northern Crater stage, which is a spoilerdom site.
Sephiroth plays with his Masamune sword; a long-*** sword with incredible reach and power. He can constantly put pressure on his foes with his moves, though the drawback is he suffers from leaving himself wide open after swinging his weapon.
Unfortunately, like Cloud, Sephiroth is only voiced in Japanese by Toshiyuki Morikawa, who voiced Dante starting from his animated series, Heishiro Mitsurigi in Soul Calibur, Julius Novachrono in Black Clover, and Yoshikage Kira in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable (...wait a minute, Sakurai is a JoJo fan. Was this the real reason he got Sephiroth in he-? *gets Masamune'd).

Stuff This Update Lacks
Until December 22th, this early update does not have the following:
1) Sephiroth's Spirit Board
2) AC Cloud's Omnislash Ver. 5 as a Final Smash

None of the fighters used in the exhibition match have any sort of significance regarding FF. Nope. Don't think too much about the lineup.
