This was the opening solo from my first live stream on Drumeo back in January of 2021. I always opened the shows with some sort of stream of consciousness solo, where I wanted to improvise ideas and strive for it to make some sort of sense— and mistakes or flubs were always included. There is some visual glitches on this video, as it was our first stream and there were glitches indeed! The ideas here were to present a theme—hit some other landscapes utilizing metric modulations, then eventually modulate back to the original theme.
