Mortal Kombat for the Sega Genesis is a fighting game that was released by Midway in 1992 for the arcades and ported to the 16-bit home systems in 1993 and was immediately a smash hit with the blood and gore of the Arcade at home minus the SNES version that contains no blood, no gore, but plenty of sweat on every impact. The game features 7 unique fighters each with their own abilities and finishing moves and a storyline to fit the plot perfectly of a fighting tournament held on Shang Tsung's private island. One of the better fighting games on the Sega Genesis.
